Avoiding "Anxious Toil"

May 30th a special meeting was held to present site development to the congregation. Ed Waasdorp reports:

Pastor Mason shared a devotional from Psalm 127.  Verse 1 says that unless the Lord builds the house, “… they labor in vain …”   Laboring in vain can be defined as “anxious toil.”  As we seek the Lord to build His house in His way and in His timing, we will not labor in anxious toil.   Pastor also brought out the connection with verses 3 – 5 that speak of the blessings of children.  The common theme is growth:  as the Lord has been adding to our congregation with youth, so also He is adding to our natural building, which will enable us to better reach out to our community.
